We designed the new offices of a law and accounting firm with a surface of 60 sq m in a block of offices on Panepistimiou street. The new floor plan includes a waiting room, three offices and storage spaces, as well as an attic serving as an auxiliary room. We approached the project as a game of geometrical volumes  which unfolds on different levels “hovering” inside the space. The attic is also part of this geometry of volumes and can now be accessed via a black sheet metal staircase. The large glass surfaces from the floor to the uncoated ceiling with the showing formwork accentuate the room’s height and give a sense of grandeur.

The offices are also interconnected from the inside through glass and metal sliding and opening elements of different heights. The space is dominated by the shade of oak wood, statuario marble, and the natural shades of sheet metal, which alternate with transparent surfaces. In this place which could be considered as an ideal cubic structure, spaces interpenetrate and allow the eye to wander freely.
