We designed the expansion of this tiles and sanitary fixtures showroom, situated in the side street of Kifisos Avenue. More precisely the existing showroom was connected to the adjacent corner 150-square-meter store. We introduced display areas for bathroom and tiling of unique character, as well as display areas for sanitary fixtures, taps and accessories. We designed furniture specifically designed for the exhibition of tiles in various dimensions, as well as two workstations.

We aimed to implement an industrial aesthetic in our design, using a combination of rough and smooth surfaces, and a colour palette in the shades of grey. To achieve this, we took the plastering out of specific existing walls, thus uncovering the concrete and bricks below, which we combined with tiling and hidden lighting. Thus a feeling of unfinished and expectation is created. The showroom becomes a canvas upon which a mosaic of materials can be implemented.

We designed the showroom lighting taking into consideration the specific needs of the display areas as well as the workstations. Moreover, we chose black metal louvres for the suspended ceiling, so as to enhance the showroom dynamic.

The floor plan of the building where the existing showroom is situated guided us as to where we would introduce the connection between old and new showroom. It was approached as a small opening that turns into a wider passage, with a product display along the way. This in-between space is uniquely coloured in a combination of tiles and bright walls and roof.
